Maya rigging tutorials: Get back too da Basics!!

- Some old but very useful set of Maya rigging tutorials by Andrew Silke and David Clayton. These tutorials are actually from the "Behind the Scene" Rigging process used in the award winning computer animated short film Cane-Toad by the duo. Cane-Toad was made with the 3d software Maya back in 2002. The tutorials are divided into three parts as ; Rig Overview, Shoulder Deformation and Bone Facial System. They says ; Building a rig is a lot like building a simple machine that works like a puppet. I know a lot of people who think that rigging as an immensely complex chore. I’d have to agree that it is a chore! But it’s really not difficult at all (just perhaps just a little tedious!) Fortunately the hard work always worth it in the end. In the future I hope there’ll be a lot more automated ways for building custom set-ups………Maya Tutorials link !!
