- Continuing the Post SIGGRAPH Trend, VFX-World has published the Review of Modo 202, an innovative 3D modeling, painting and rendering software by Luxology® ; which happens to be one of the most shout about release, in this year SIGGRAPH. Modo 202 has been released in the first week of august during SIGGRAPH ‘06. Now Fred Galpern of VFX-World takes a look at Modo 202 and tries to find out whether Luxology has released a worthy upgrade or is just trying to double dip into animator’s pockets. Snip: The most interesting of the new texture features in modo 202 is the ability to paint an existing image onto a model, using something Luxology calls Image Ink.
