- Framestore Gives Visual effects shots for New Vauxhall Spots. Framestore CFC visual effects and computer animation studio's amazingly versatile Commercials animators have created some wonderful new characters for the new Vauxhall spots, "Follow That Car and Get Up & Go". Created by agency DLKW, directed by Dom and Nic, and produced by John Madsen for Outsider, the two 40-second spots began airing in the UK in October........"We did the work in Maya, Shake and used Zbrush, which is a displacement painting package, to paint a lot of the creasing. In order to do it as well as we needed to, we had to do some extra creasing into the actual displacement maps on an frame by frame basis for some shots."....The final Framestore CFC touch for the two spots was the Telecine, created by Dave Ludlam. "Both spots needed an urban feel - natural and not too polished," he says, "Although Get Up and Go had a bit more gloss, to capture that night-life vibe."
