Floor Texture Generator 1.0
- Floor Texture Generator is a new application developed by Martin Chudomel for creating various combination of Floor Textures with high resolution. Martin says; Floor Texture Generator is a simple utility, that cerates wood floor patterns from single wood images. It uses an image of a smaller size as source and cerates a wood floor texture with a desired size - up to 2000 x 2000 pixels.
The aim of this application is not to create seamless textures. Sometimes a seamless texture leaves an unwanted pattern effect. A texture created with Floor Texture Generator is a single big-size image, so it can cover a large area in your 3D scene without leaving any repeating pattern. The program makes the following to create a texture: It picks blocks of the source image and then places them one after another to the texture. Every block is taken from a random position, so it never looks the same as the previous one. The user can specify the size of a block taken from the original image and the size of the tiles of the floor texture. If the source blocks look all the same, the user can specify the amount of color variation for the floor tiles.
