+ Next Limit Technologies has Released Maxwell Render™ v.1.6.F6 plugin for C4D. Its a plug-in interface between it´s advanced light simulator Maxwell Render™ and
Cinema 4D, allowing users to render their models and scenes with Maxwell Render. With the Maxwell Render plug-in for C4D, users simply model their scene in Cinema 4D, apply materials and other settings inside Cinema 4D using the plug-in, and render the scene.
The Version 1.6.F6 Update offers :
- Non-active cameras bug fixed. The cameras were exported with X and Z coordinates swapped.
- Slow viewport after importing Maxwell materials fixed.
- The Cinema4D Texture Paths in Preferences are used to look for missing
textures in materials and are also passed to MXCL. Furthermore, when writing the MXS file for rendering, a check is made to ensure all textures referenced in the materials are found. If any texture is missing, a dialog pops up to choose a replacement texture. If the user picks a texture, its path is used to look for other textures.
- Fixed bug with animation driven by expressions and /or tags (e.g. Align To Spline tag)

Then I go from the front of the car to the rear. But there are many ways of course. For making wheels I use Bolean operations. First I make main shape then I use Bolean............link!!

CR2 Loader and Morph Tools for Cinema 4D !!

Greenbriar Studio's CR2 Loader and Morph Tools for Cinema 4D
Posted by Picasa
- This is more of a presentation of Greenbriar Studio's CR2 Loader 1.6 and Morph Tools than an evaluation since I do not work with rigging figures in Poser or in Cinema 4D. When I started this project, I just wanted to see how Poser figures would load into Cinema 4D R9.52. Instead I ended up working with the CR2 Loader, Morph Tools and Conformer Software. I had a number of questions along the way, and David Matthews of Greenbriar Studio was immediately responsive and a pleasure to work with. The CR2 loader will import PZZ, CR2, CRZ, HR2, HRZ, PP2, PPZ files from Poser 5 and 6 into Cinema 4D. There are different versions of the Loader depending on the Release of Cinema 4D. I am importing the Poser files into Cinema 4D R9.52............................
