One of the main goals of finalShaders for is to provide user efficiency when creating even the most complex material effects. What’s more is that these are not simple, “canned material” effects with only a few options. They are fully customizable, flexible material types that will give you the ability to quickly get the specific looks you want.
From alien and human skin, to waxy candles, from beautifully deep, flecked car paints to oily thin-film effects are all just a few mouse-clicks away. finalToon™ for 3ds Max 9

+ cebas Computer, maker of ®, today announces the finalToon™ update for 3ds Max 9. All users that purchased finalToon™ within the last 2 months will get this update for free. This update will give previous finalToon™ owners the ability to install and use finalToon in , both 32 and 64 bit. You must already own and have licensed finalToon™ to purchase this update.
finalToon™ is a full blown True Line Renderer (TLR), with unparalleled line quality and rendering speed. Cartoon or line rendering scenes that take a long time to render within 3ds max, are lightning fast in finalToon™! Suddenly, you can render real fat outlines of an object without the wait and inaccurate dirty look of a shader based solution. finalToon, being a TLR (true line renderer) doesn't mean that finalToon™ has to replace your favorite renderer to do shading or other special effects. finalToon is implemented as a true
"Render Effect", and so you can enjoy all the great benefits of such an implementation! You may adjust line styles in realtime without the need to re-render the whole scene over and over again. This is what we call "The Choice of Quality". All shading and rendering is done with the production proven 3ds Max scanline renderer. When the scanline pass is done, the finalToon™ line renderer "pops in" and takes over to produce one of the best line renderings available of today. And even better- finalToon supports perfectly finalRender® with all the advanced options, including GI rendering for cartoon style objects!

Cebas Plugins For 3dsmax 9

Upcoming!
- cebas Computer today announces readiness and update procedures for the 3dsmax 9 rollout. The 3dsmax 9 requires that ALL plugins be completely recompiled because of their changes in SDK, API, and 64 bit support. We have been working with 3ds Max 9 for some time compiling and recompiling our plugins. Some plugins will take more time and testing than others as there have been significant changes in 3dsmax. We have had to work very hard to recompile, recode, and fix bugs that were introduced by the changes in 3ds Max 9. For each plugin there will be a small update fee (between $50-$95) in order to upgrade your plugins to work with 3dsmax 9. Some products like
and will likely have a completely new release for 3ds Max 9. Please be advised that your old plugins will not work with 3dsmax 9. Updates should become available within the next month or two. Please look to the cebas newsletter, cebas home-page, or cebas forum for information on when your plugin updates will be available.
